Ceramic Patch Antenna is a small antenna suitable for bluetooth devices. The types of ceramic antenna are divided into block ceramic antenna and multilayer ceramic antenna. The block antenna is used to sintered the whole ceramic body at high temperature and then the metal part of the antenna is printed on the surface of the ceramic block.However, the multi-layer antenna is fired by low-temperature co-firing method, which means that the multi-layer ceramic is pressed and aligned and then sintered at high temperature. Therefore, the metal conductor of the antenna can be printed on each layer of ceramic medium layer according to the design needs. In this way, the antenna size can be effectively reduced and the purpose of hiding the antenna can be achieved. Because the dielectric constant of the ceramic itself is higher than that of the PCB, the ceramic antenna can effectively reduce the antenna size.Moreover,the ceramic antenna is made of ceramic with a weight of only 200g. Its frequency range is between 902MHz and 928MHz. In terms of dielectric loss, ceramic medium has a smaller dielectric loss than PCB circuit board, so it is very suitable for bluetooth module with low power consumption rate. The effect of the ceramic antenna is stronger than that of the onboard antenna. Generally, there are ANT access feet and feet, which are very convenient to use. Ceramic antenna has four important parameters: Gain, VSWR, Noise figure and Axial ratio. Among them, Axis ratio is especially emphasized, which is an important index to measure the difference of signal gain of the whole machine in different directions.Ceramic working principle of the antenna is implemented by using GPS satellite navigation and positioning, and the user's main task is to extract the satellite signal receiver of pseudorandom noise code and data code, thus to further calculating to get the position of the receiver carrier, speed, and time (PVT) navigation information. The principle of the ceramic antenna to is divided into two parts: one is transmitting antenna and the receiving antenna. The antenna dimension is as small as teflon antenna which can provide highly stabilized performance by using high quality factor.


Application Field

Ordinary high permittivity ceramic loss is bigger, but the Ceramic Patch Antenna with high dielectric constant of ceramics with low dielectric loss factor, attune to cover UHF frequencies, ceramic antenna operation requires a digital circuit, circuit through the different combination of reactor bypass switch to generate the appropriate tuning impedance, so as to choose different frequencies, the switch part and the use of the cheap PIN diode. Tuner is easy to operate, no need for complex control signal and receiving software,  good temperature stability, low cost and small size. Dimensional accuracy closes control of dielectric constant and temperature stable ceramic insures repeatable performance and dependable sensitivity. Patch ceramic antenna can be installed in the navigation equipment for navigation, but also can replace the traditional pull rod antenna. When mounting, the antenna must be fixed with the bottom filling glue to provide the necessary mechanical strength and prevent the ceramic patch antenna from falling off. The type and design of it is flat patch antenna and rectangular micro-strip antenna respectively. Moreover, the feeding method is off-set one point feeding through ground plane.
